Privacy Policy

The short version

Your baby's log lives on your device by default. We don't run ads, we don't put analytics trackers in the app or on this site, and we don't sell your data. If you turn on family sharing, the log syncs only between the devices you explicitly invite, nothing else.

What we collect

The app stores the entries you log (feeding, sleep, nappies, pumping, medicine, temperature, symptoms, growth and milestones, along with any notes you type) on your device, together with your baby's name, date of birth and sex. That data never leaves your device unless you turn on Family sharing or export it yourself.

Family sharing

Family sharing is free and off by default. If you turn it on, your entries, your baby's profile and the display name you choose are copied to Google Firebase Realtime Database so the caregivers you invite can see them. The connection is encrypted, and the data is encrypted at rest.

Photos are the exception: pictures you attach to a milestone or a profile stay on your device and are never uploaded.

Each device gets an anonymous identifier so the shared log can show who logged what. It is not linked to an email address or a Google account. LittleLog has no user accounts and never asks for an email or password.

Purchases

Premium is bought through Google Play, which handles payment. We never see your card details. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription or lifetime purchase is active; it receives the purchase record and an anonymous identifier for your install, and nothing you log about your baby.

There are no analytics or advertising trackers in the app.

What we never do

• No advertising of any kind, in the app or on this site.
• No third-party analytics or advertising trackers in the app.
• No selling or renting your data to anyone, ever.
• No tracking across other apps or websites.

Export and deletion

You can export your full history as JSON or CSV at any time, free, whether or not you subscribe.

Deleting your data

• On your device: Settings > Your data > Erase all data. If Family sharing is on, this also leaves the shared log; the other caregivers keep their copy.
• Deleting the app removes everything stored on that device.
• Data already synced through Family sharing stays with your household. To have it removed from our servers, email support@littlelog.net with the subject "Data deletion request". Full instructions are at littlelog.net/data-deletion.

This website

This marketing site sets no cookies and runs no trackers. The only thing we log is standard, anonymous server request information needed to keep the site online and secure.

Children's privacy

LittleLog is a tool for parents and caregivers to log information about a baby in their care. The app is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect any data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and keep the previous version available on request. We won't quietly narrow what we do with your data.
